Steve has spent two decades in sports journalism, covering everything from the Olympic Games and Wembley cup finals to Rugby World Cups and cricket in India. Nothing, however, beats his achievement of getting a darts story onto the front page of the New York Times sports section.

A keen but useless darts player, he’s lost against pretty much everyone he has played, from Phil Taylor to that bloke down the pub who hadn’t picked up a dart since 1997.
